Seven Rhymes: Farewell to Frankincense
Seven Rhymes . Farewell to Frankincense
Today Tan // Original Poem
.
Thirty years ago, a young man, picking flowers easily replaced a charming smile.
Letters across vast distances once conveyed meaning, fate unable to connect the relationship.
Old and heavy, seeing sorrowful trees, branches thick and again broken, feeling the smoke.
Insensitive years, a loving guest, frankincense in the heart, heaven in the outside world.
