From School Innocence and Confusion to Mature Social Work: A Life Perspective
I recently got together with some old friends and we talked about this topic. He and I both didn't attend university full-time, and when he saw the university buildings, he felt a surge of impulse, wanting to go back and attend university.
He said he has many regrets in his life, and the biggest regret is not experiencing university campus life. He also told us that it was because he was a bit impulsive back then, so he didn't go to university, which is why he feels this regret.
I think it's because of the impulsive decision he made back then that he now has regrets and a strong desire to go to university. Or perhaps it's because he's been working and surviving in the society as a 'robot', or maybe he regrets not choosing university and now leads a mundane, unproductive life.
However, I believe that sometimes work isn't significantly influenced by education. You need strong logical thinking and the ability to learn and adapt, combined with work experience, keen observation, and a flexible mind – you can't just blindly come to conclusions.
Everyone's life growth process is generally similar, but the choices we make aren't necessarily the same. For example, we all grow from child――teenager――youth――middle-aged――elderly, but the amount of education we choose to pursue and when we get married or remain single, or whether we want children after marriage are all choices we make ourselves. That means we have to take responsibility for the consequences of our choices!
