A person who knows how to compromise is worth deep friendship
A person who knows how to yield to relatives, to friends, to lovers, and to partners is undoubtedly a person with a broad heart, worthy of deep friendship, trustworthy, and worthy of entrustment.

Arguing with others, yielding, is not a sign of submission, but a demonstration of magnanimity, and a reflection of a person's perspective. Yielding may make you feel momentarily wronged, but it can lead to greater reliance from others.

Yielding may not bring you immediate benefits, but it can certainly help resolve conflicts, reduce friction, and repair relationships.
Often, it's not necessary for people to engage in direct confrontation and nitpicking. Some things don't require a fight to the finish, or a determination of a clear winner and loser.
