CuratedForgetting is also a kind of blessing

Zhuangzi said: 'Forget your feet, and any shoes will fit; forget your waist, and any belt will fit; forgetting right and wrong, and you will be at peace.' The sun rises and sets, life has both sweetness and bitterness. Being able to forget is also a kind of blessing.'

In the Tang Dynasty, Yuan Jie had a poem: 'Bamboo shoots circle the thatched hut, there is a cold spring in the courtyard, two stone peaks on the west, gazing at them can make one forget their age.' Yuan Jie lived in a humble bamboo grove, content and serene.
Forgetting is referring to a serene and tranquil state of mind, without attachment to external possessions and fame, without dwelling on past glories and grievances, and without concerning oneself with disputes over right and wrong; it is a state of inner peace.
To forget petty calculations and ulterior motives with others, to have pure thoughts, to understand how to find tranquility amidst chaos, to appreciate the balance between pleasure and pain, to not be swayed by external things, not to be overly concerned with oneself, to have a clear and tranquil state of mind, to be at ease and relaxed, to be serene and composed, and to live a life of quiet dignity.

Memory is like a storage room, with a limited capacity. Only by discarding trivial details and unimportant things can we preserve the essence, the theme, and valuable impressions; in order to remember what we should remember, we must delete useless information from our minds. Therefore, it can be said that being able to forget is a capacity, and more importantly, a wisdom.
The things we should forget should be forgotten as soon as possible.

When you part from those who make you unhappy, forget them immediately; when you encounter troublesome matters, try to forget them as they pass; when you encounter scenes that make you sad, you should be able to turn around and forget them.
A philosopher once said: 'The way to happiness lies in not worrying about things beyond one's ability.' Being able to forget allows us to face life more calmly and serenely, thus maintaining a joyful and healthy body and mind.
Life is like a heavy hundred-year calendar, as we turn the pages, the days gone by increase, and the remaining days decrease. Wouldn't it be better to tear off a day at a time?

Therefore, the calendar can lighten the burden; we can be lightly armed. Those who cannot forget past misfortunes often lose their happiness even today!
