Raising yourself too high will make others not admire you.

Having compassion benefits others; having empathy allows you to tolerate others; having patience enables you to be a good person; having compassion can redeem others; having a considerate heart helps you assist others; having a wise heart allows you to observe others; having a tolerant heart enables you to handle people; having a righteous heart enables you to manage people; having a detail-oriented heart allows you to discern people; having a trusting heart enables you to utilize people; having a sense of responsibility enables you to nurture people; having a beautiful heart enables you to show yourself.

In a life's journey, carrying less burdens allows you to travel further. Treat yourself well, and you will become more outstanding, valued by others. But if you over-extend yourself for others, you will become weaker, and your value will be lost. Therefore, don't always try to please others; the more you care about them, the more insignificant you become. Only by letting others please you will you have more value. Life is short, so be good to yourself.
Happiness is a feeling. It doesn't depend on powerful authority or excessive wealth or exceptional talent, but on a calm heart. Holding a calm attitude towards the joys and sorrows of life brings you a full and satisfying happiness. Happiness is like wearing shoes – tight or loose, you know how to adjust it; happiness is like drinking water – cold or warm, you know how to distinguish it. If happiness is a physical sensation, then it is a spiritual one. Happiness is about brewing sweetness into the bitterness of life.

If you raise yourself too high, others may not admire you. If you lower yourself too much, others may not respect you. No one is perfect, so don't hide your shortcomings. You should be able to look up, and you should also be able to look down. Between looking up and looking down, it's not just a posture, but also an attitude, a quality. In adversity, looking up is courage and confidence; in favorable circumstances, looking down is calmness and modesty. Having the strength to compete at the top also requires the humility to look down.
