The world doesn't differ, what differs is the heart.

The heart is the root of everything. We should all have a kind heart and be grateful.

Everything depends on the heart. How much virtue you have in your heart, the fortune you have will be that much!

1Because of kindness, we are lucky.

Good deeds bring good rewards, bad deeds bring bad rewards. The rewards of good and evil are fixed.

There is a temple where a string of Buddhist beads worn by the Buddha is enshrined. Only the temple's abbot and seven disciples know about it.

One day, the string of beads suddenly disappeared. The abbot said to the disciples, 'Whoever took the beads, as long as they return them to their original place, I won't pursue them, and the Buddha will not blame you.' But the disciples shook their heads.

Seven days passed, and the beads still hadn't appeared. The abbot said again, 'Whoever admits to taking them, I will return them to him.' But no one admitted.

The abbot was disappointed and said, 'Tomorrow, you all go down the mountain. Whoever took the beads can keep them.' The next morning, six of the disciples went down the mountain, leaving only one disciple behind.

The abbot asked, 'Where are the beads?' The disciple said, 'I didn't take them.'

The abbot asked again, 'Why did you stay behind, to carry the blame of stealing?'

The disciple said, 'These few days, we have been suspicious of each other. If someone speaks out, everyone will be relieved. Besides, the Buddha is still there, watching over everything.'

The abbot smiled, took out the string of beads from his pocket and put it on the disciple's hand, saying, 'You think so, you can think of others even more. This is the way of Buddhism.' So, this disciple inherited the abbot's position.

Kind people always have good luck.Kind people attract more kind people, so they can always have more help and things go smoothly. People often say 'Birds of a feather flock together, people with similar values gather together.'Because of kindness, we are lucky.

Don't do bad things just because they are small, don't do good things just because they are small. In life, there is no random cause and effect. All good luck comes from our own efforts.

Heaven will never disappoint those who are kind. Don't be discouraged if you are not as lucky as others. All the beauty is on your way to achieve it.Life, cherish it.

2The heart is full, people are happy.

Buddha said: 'Without good or evil, good and evil exist only in your heart.'

When you have a kind thought, you are in paradise; when you have a wicked thought, you are in hell.

Kind people have a grateful heart, and their lives are full of gratitude, love and surprise.

The Buddha asked a person, 'In the eyes of ordinary people, you are already rich and powerful, with a loving wife and a smart son. Why are you still unhappy?'

The man replied, 'That's why I don't know how to make choices.'

The Buddha smiled and said, 'Let me tell you a story. One day, a tourist was about to die of thirst. I put a lake of water in front of him, but he didn't drink a drop.' I asked him, 'Why don't you drink?'

'The lake is so vast, and my stomach is so small. If I can't drink it all at once, I'd better not drink it at all!'
