The Sparrow's Fasting
As a child, I loved sparrows. Whenever winter arrived, the ice and snow covered the earth, and many sparrows had no place to forage. I used wooden sticks to build a bucket and tie a rope to catch them. But every time I would put it in a cage, it would starve to death. Back then, I didn't understand that these birds couldn't be tamed; they were the only ones who wouldn't yield. It had no beautiful coat and wasn't as fierce as an eagle, but it possessed an indomitable free spirit. Its name was Sparrow!
