It's rare to find someone who truly understands your woes; most people just dismiss them or turn them into jokes and spread them around. To receive something from others, you must first be able to afford it. My parents have always taught me this. When someone spends for you, they first assess your value. Therefore, you must remember this truth as you grow older: no one will pay for you beyond your worth!
Health is not about being thin or fat; it's about being free of disease. Wealth is not about having or not having; it's about being frugal and wise. Life is not about luxury; it's about contentment and joy. Persistence will inevitably lead to loneliness, questioning, and mockery, and you should disregard them. Even if you're scarred, you must stand strong. After all, a lifetime is not long. So, if you've come, live it beautifully!
Life is full of ups and downs; you'll never know what will happen next or why fate treats you this way. Shoes that don't fit shouldn't be forced; they only grind your feet; repeatedly calling someone who doesn't answer is wasteful; and revisiting a closed restaurant won't bring back the past.
Things you dislike should be discarded, people you hate should be blocked, when you're unhappy, take a nap; photos you've seen too much of should be deleted; when you meet someone you like, confess your feelings; when you're hungry, go eat the food you want most! Life is too short to waste time on hesitation.
A fountain is beautiful because of pressure; a waterfall is magnificent because it has no way back; water can cut through stone because it never gives up. Life is similar. In a short lifetime, don't leave yourself with regrets. If you want to laugh, laugh; if you want to cry, cry; if you want to love, love—don't suppress yourself.
When your ambition surpasses your worth, calm down and work hard, don't waste the suffering you've endured. The best understanding is not when someone understands your unspoken meaning, but when someone understands your silence.
You're still young, and you'll meet many people and experience many things, gaining and losing, but no matter what, you must never lose two things: conscience and ideals.
