Excellent Sample Essays Appreciation – Love Makes Me More Beautiful
Love makes me more beautiful
Everyone's life journey is inevitably accompanied by bright spring sunshine and warm sunshine. If you ask which ray of sunshine is the most dazzling, some say excellent academic results, others say substantial material wealth… but I think the most dazzling sunshine is love.
Two years ago, I had a serious illness, and my parents ran around behind my back, seeking medical treatment everywhere. From their anxious expressions, from their meticulous care, I deeply realized the unconditional love of my parents. One day, my father took me to the hospital on a bicycle, and I noticed he was riding slowly. For months, he was exhausted, and my illness further fatigued him. I accidentally noticed some gray hairs on his head. Oh, Dad is aging, becoming older. I saw the vicissitudes of life and the hardships of life on him, and I also saw the traces of his hard work for me. Oh, Dad hasn't changed, that mighty paternal love hasn't changed. I still feel his warmth and love.
That was one evening during my hospitalization. It was very cold, and it was snowing heavily outside. My father came to deliver dinner after work, but I wanted dumplings. Without hesitation, he put down the meal he brought from home and went out into the biting wind and swirling snowflakes to buy me dumplings. It was dark, the wind was even stronger, and the snow was falling harder. At that time, he walked while talking, 'Are you hungry?' Looking at my father's kind face and feeling the cold red hands, I burst into tears. 'Dad, Dad…' I kept murmuring in my heart, 'You are my good dad!' Winter is cold, but my father's actions are like sunshine, warming my sick body; like a warm current, melting into my troubled heart; my father's care supported my belief in overcoming illness. After more than a month of treatment, I was discharged from the hospital.
I will never forget my parents' love, care, and concern for me. What can I do for them? I often ask myself. Even if it's just to help them grow old, wash dishes, and sing them a song or take them for a stroll, I would feel comforted. Learning to be grateful and to repay them, I suddenly felt like I'd grown up. I studied diligently so they wouldn't worry about me; I eagerly washed dishes and sorted vegetables to give them a break; I often hummed songs, filling the home with laughter and joy. I did everything I could to create unforgettable good times for my parents, making them happy and proud. I love my parents, and so do countless children around the world, loving their own parents.
Love is a sentiment, more importantly, a taste. My parents' love allows me to experience the surging of family affection, the warmth of home, and the colorfulness of life. In life, love is everywhere – the love of teachers for students, the love between friends, and the love of our country for us. This world, we enjoy being loved, and we should also learn to love. It's love that makes my life more beautiful. Let's work together to create a beautiful space for love!
