Many things change suddenly.

One. Today when taking a car back from the new office, I discovered that I encountered this driver back in November 2019 as well.

I was momentarily stunned, I thought I had been moving to the new office for a long time, so I didn't pay much attention to the time. I didn't realize it had only been four months.

I was wondering when I had gotten used to the new office.

I'm not sure.

I just felt that it happened suddenly, and it was a bit surprising.

Last Friday, I was unwell and didn't go to work.

When I returned to the window again today, I was stunned to see that the flower that was blooming last week had withered.

It's unclear when the flower bloomed.

I just felt a bit surprised by this sudden change.

I remembered feeling the same way when I was a child, constantly thinking about things I wanted to keep, and wondering what the meaning of life was.

I didn't find an answer then, and I still don't now.

However, I started to tell myself that it's okay if I don't know the answer, and to cherish the present life and enjoy it.

I don't know when I learned to comfort myself, but I did have a happy childhood.

Now that I've learned to comfort myself, I don't know if my life is happier than when I was a child.

In fact, you said that everything happened suddenly.

It seemed to have some signs.

The two trees at the window, the one on the left bloomed, and the one on the right was almost withered.

They had similar growing environments, so it was logical to guess that the other flower was also in decline.

But people always want to leave something beautiful behind, even knowing it won't last long.

People always wait until a thing reaches its peak beauty before it starts to decline, and then they leave.

And then they say, 'How sudden!'

I realized that many things didn't change suddenly.

Many things are things we don't want to admit have changed.

Good night.
