Ingredients: 500g of flour, 3g of yeast, 300g of beef, 300g of tofu, 300g of carrots, ginger and scallions to taste

Seasoning: soy sauce, (liao jiu - rice wine), salt, pepper, oyster sauce, ginger scallion water

Instructions:

1First, make ginger scallion water: Crush ginger and chop scallion segments, soak in a small bowl with water for 30 minutes;

2Cut the beef into a fine paste, add soy sauce, rice wine, salt, pepper, and oyster sauce, gradually adding half a bowl of ginger scallion water and mixing in one direction until it becomes sticky;

3Blanch the tofu in boiling water for 2 minutes and cut it into pieces, grate the carrots into shreds, and mix them with the beef filling. The steamed bun filling is ready;

4Activate the yeast in warm (30°C) water and knead the dough until soft. Place it in a warm place to ferment until doubled or tripled in volume;

5Knead the dough again to remove air, cut it into dough pieces and roll them into steamed bun wrappers, filling them with the mixture;

6Steam for 15 minutes, turn off the heat and let it sit for 3 minutes before opening the lid. The steamed buns are ready!



The beef contains vitamin B6 and vitamin B12, which enhance immunity and resistance, contains protein, potassium, and linoleic acid, which are beneficial for muscle growth.

Carrots are rich in vitamin A, which has a protective effect on vision; tofu is a high-calcium, high-protein food; flour is a carbohydrate, which is also essential for weight loss.

After making the steamed buns, you can store them in the refrigerator for frozen storage. Have a breakfast of a beef carrot tofu steamed bun + a glass of milk + a serving of fruit + a serving of leafy greens, and it's a nutritionally balanced slimming breakfast.
