My Weekly Vegetarian Dinner - Healthy, Delicious, and Weight Loss

Today I'm sharing my 7-day dinner, which can also be said to be my family's week of vegetarian meals. Every meal is delicious and healthy, and doesn't gain weight. I think it's quite effective for me. Maybe it's because I've been eating less these few days. I've been staying home for 7 days, and I haven't gained any weight, let alone lost half a pound. If I continue like this, I really have a chance to achieve my dream of successful weight loss. In addition, eating vegetarian has the benefit of saving money. All 7 dinners cost only 100 yuan. Below I will introduce my 7 dinners in detail, so you can see if my combination is reasonable.

First day dinner: Garlic sprouts and potato slices + oil-dripped golden needle fungus + garlic sprouts stir-fried with tofu stalks + rice porridge. I originally wanted to eat dumplings for dinner on the first night, but I ate a lot of dumplings for breakfast and lunch, and I couldn't eat much in the evening, so I just stir-fried a few side dishes. These three side dishes are all very appetizing and good for eating. I named the oil-dripped golden needle fungus 'Good Fortune Comes', wishing everyone a prosperous new year. This dish is very simple to make. First, sauté minced garlic and chili flakes, add salt, MSG, White Pepper, and oyster sauce for seasoning, then pour the sauce on the golden needle fungus, steam for 15 minutes, and finally sprinkle with chopped green onion and drizzle with hot oil.

Second day dinner: Pickled autumn squash + vinegar-flavored potato shreds + stir-fried heart of palm + braised eggplant. The four dishes I made for dinner on the second day are all my favorites. I'll share a few cooking tips with you. Pickled autumn squash is best to cook with the autumn squash root, after boiling, remove the root. Vinegar-flavored potato shreds must first add vinegar, then add potato shreds. Stir-fried heart of palm should not use a knife to cut the heart of palm, but to tear it into pieces. Braised eggplant should use tender eggplants and peel them.


Third day dinner: Chili stir-fried tofu stalks + tomato and egg stir-fried with cabbage flower + spicy meat strips + clay pot yam. In the first two dinners, the meals were a bit too light, and my family and children said I didn't stir-fry enough spicy, so on the third day, I made two spicy dishes. I recommend trying spicy meat strips, stir-fry over high heat with a lot of chili peppers, and add cumin powder at the end. It tastes like grilled meat strips and is very appetizing. The clay pot yam is also very good, just stir-fry it and add some water and salt, then pour it into a clay pot to stew. It's very relieving the greasy feeling.

Fourth day dinner: Chili stir-fried autumn squash + oil-dripped golden needle fungus + stir-fried potato shreds + green bean corn porridge. I stopped using autumn squash and golden needle fungus for dinner on the fourth night, so I reminded everyone that in the New Year, there are a lot of ingredients at home, and you should pay attention to whether the ingredients have spoiled, and you should eat ingredients that are hard to store first. These three dishes are recommended to eat chili stir-fried autumn squash, which is very flavorful and easy to make. Chop green onion, ginger, and garlic to sauté, then add autumn squash and chili peppers to stir-fry, add salt, MSG, White Pepper for seasoning, and stir-fry until cooked.


Sixth day dinner: Green pepper and bean sprout stir-fried with bean sprout stalks + stir-fried clay pot yam slices + oil brick + rice porridge. I don't want to eat too much yam, but I don't want to waste it, so I'll tell you about oil bricks. Oil bricks taste good if you smear a lot of sauce on them. I usually mix chopped green onion, vegetable oil, salt, five-spice powder, and pepper powder together to make the sauce. You can try it.


Seventh day dinner: Chives and egg filling dumplings + stir-fried cabbage flower + spicy meat strips + fried rice + chili sauce + corn porridge. Many people make chives filling dumplings, usually adding chives, eggs, and cellophane noodles. Today I'll teach you a trick, and add more minced pork into the filling. After grinding the minced pork into a paste and mixing it into the filling, the dumplings will taste very fragrant.
