1. Exercise Points

01. Lie on your stomach, bend your right knee, and bring your heels towards your hip. Support your left forearm to stabilize your body, and extend your right hand to grip the inner side of your foot. As you slowly rotate your elbow towards the ceiling, slide your palms over the top of your foot, and your palm should firmly press against the foot's top. Start by pressing your feet towards your hips; hold for a brief moment, and if you have enough flexibility, slightly move your feet outward and press your feet towards the floor. Make sure your knees are aligned with your hips. Don't force it; try slowly pressing towards the floor.

Don't hunch your left shoulder. Instead, use your elbow to press down and lift your chest. Switch sides and hold for the same amount of time, 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Once your thighs and knees are sufficiently open, you can try a deeper variation – the full frog pose.

2. Exercise Benefits

02. This movement stretches the entire front of your body, including your ankles, thighs, and groin, abdomen, chest, throat, and hip flexors (the quadratus lumborum), strengthens your back muscles, improves posture and flat feet, and stimulates abdominal organs.
