Wasting Time Practicing Cooking, Using Up Flour
Isolated at home, eating, sleeping, eating again, many northern friends couldn’t stand it and started messing around with flour, steaming buns, making dumplings, baking bread, making pancakes, frying dough sticks, making liangpi (cold skin noodles), all kinds of fancy stuff. I made cat ears, five-spice twisted buns, and failed at making sausage rolls (they became too dry when frying and the sugar coating fell off).
