Uncle's Inner Mongolian Snacks: Baked Milk Tofu, Fragrant and Delicious, Soft and Flavorful, Loved by Family
Recently, my uncle has developed a liking for Inner Mongolian tofu and, compared to Western cheese, it has a higher protein content and slightly lower fat content. Tofu has a chewy texture, available in original and sweet flavors, and I prefer the original. After cutting into small pieces and baking in the oven to soften, I eat it as a snack. Of course, it varies from person to person, Mongolian tofu has a slightly rough texture, and some people still prefer smoother cheese. Dairy products are mainly made from cow, sheep, horse, and Bactrian camel milk. In the pasture areas, milk is the best, followed by sheep milk. Fresh milk is poured into clean containers and left in a cool place in summer and a warm in winter, which will ferment and solidify after a period of time, forming curdled milk.

Curdled milk is divided into two layers, the upper layer is pale yellow and fragrant with milk, which is called 'juhe' in Mongolian and 'jiao kou' in Chinese. It is very fragrant when stir-fried with rice or rice. It can also be used to extract cream, which is a white block-shaped lower layer, rich in protein, called 'ghedan nai zi', which can be eaten directly or used to make tofu. Tofu is a common dairy product in Mongolian pastoral households. It resembles ordinary tofu in shape but is not tofu; it has a slightly sour taste, and tofu is produced on the Khorchin grassland. It uses the simplest method of brushing with oil and baking.

Tofu, butter, white sugar
1First, cut the tofu into strips and arrange it evenly on baking paper. After the butter is heated and softened, brush it on the tofu surface with a brush;

2Then sprinkle a little white sugar evenly and put it into the preheated oven;

3Finally, at a temperature of 200 degrees for 10 minutes to bake the tofu, ready to be served hot, soft and chewy, children love to eat it for calcium supplementation.
