Fish-Filled Tofu: A Delicious Dish Loved by Children

Talking about fried tofu, my family still loves to stuff it. Previously, we used pork, sticky rice, and chives as fillings. Today, my friend didn’t go out to buy meat, and they just happened to send over a fish. I cut a piece of fish and prepared to make a fish-filled tofu dish. It’s particularly delicious for the children, and they all love it. After the dish, they even cleaned up the remaining sauce and ate it with rice. The other side dishes they made were also finished. Ingredients:Half a catty of fried tofu, 1 bowl of fresh soybeans, a piece of fish, a carrot, 6 dried shiitake mushrooms, ginger, pepper, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, yellow wine, peanut oil, starch, scallions, etc.

Detailed steps are as follows:

Step 1: First, process the fish. I used grass carp for the fish, removing the fish bones, then cutting it into thin slices, then cutting it into strips, and finally chopping it into fish meat puree. It’s okay to chop it several times before chopping it into small pieces, so you don’t have to worry about chopping it into pieces.

Step 2: Prepare 6 dried shiitake mushrooms, soak them beforehand, wash them clean, and squeeze out the excess water before cutting them into small pieces. Add them to the fish meat filling. Step 3: Prepare a sand pot, put the cleaned fresh soybeans into the sand pot. I’m referring to the fresh soybeans here, which is what everyone calls “”.

Step 4: Prepare a half-catty of carrots. If you like it, you can add more. Peel, wash, and cut the carrots into granules and add them to the sand pot. Then add a large bowl of water, cover the pot with a lid, and turn the heat to high to boil, then turn the heat to low and cook for 10 minutes.

Step 5: While the soybeans and carrots are simmering, we’ll prepare half a catty of fried tofu. Wash it with water, remove the excess oil and impurities, and squeeze out the moisture. Then cut it in half and stuff it with the fish meat filling, you can fill it to the brim.

Step 6: After stuffing the fried tofu, the soybeans and carrots are almost cooked. Prepare a little minced ginger and a little salt, peanut oil, and then put the stuffed fried tofu into it.

Step 7: Cover the pot again, continue to simmer for 10 minutes, first turn the heat to high and then turn it to low to simmer slowly.

Step 8: At this time, we prepare a small bowl, add half a bowl of water to the bowl, add pepper, a spoonful of starch, a little light soy sauce, oyster sauce, and stir evenly to prepare.

Step 9: After the fried tofu is almost cooked, the aroma is filled throughout the house. Open the pot cover and pour the just-prepared sauce into it, gently stir it, and let the tofu absorb it more thoroughly.
