How to Make Braised Pork Belly and Potato Rice

—Do it with heart
Sharing a super simple rice pot recipe with everyone—Pork Belly and Potato Rice. In previous rice pot recipes I've shared, we usually sautéed the vegetables and meat before simmering, but today I'm sharing a method that doesn't require sautéing, and you can easily make it in an electric rice cooker. It has meat, vegetables, and rice all in one pot, which is very convenient. The rice is fluffy and flavorful, the pork belly is fragrant, and the potatoes are soft, making for a rich combination of textures. The more you chew, the more flavor you get.

Specific production methods
First step: Prepare ingredients. Several pieces of pork belly, two medium-sized potatoes, and appropriate amount of rice.

Second step: Cut the pork belly into thin slices, and cut the potatoes into chunks.

Third step: Wash the rice clean and put it in the electric rice cooker.

Fourth step: Put the chopped potatoes and pork belly into the pot, as shown in the picture. Then pour in an appropriate amount of water (the amount of water is the same as that used for usual simmering), cover the electric rice cooker, and select the rice cooking function.

Fifth step: While the rice is cooking, make a sauce in a bowl. Take an empty bowl and put 2 spoons of soy sauce, 1 spoon of fish sauce, half spoon of white sugar, a little salt, 1 spoon of water, and a few drops of sesame oil into it, and stir until well combined. The sauce is ready.
Sixth step: After the rice is cooked, pour the prepared sauce into the pot and mix it thoroughly with the rice.

Seventh step: Serve it by taking it out, sprinkle a little chopped scallion for decoration, and enjoy it on the table.

Extra words:
1. This method is very simple, almost zero difficulty, I believe everyone can make it. Friends who like it can also blanch some vegetables to accompany the rice, making it more nutritious.
2. You can replace the pork belly with cured meat, which is equally delicious.
