How to Make Braised Beef with Bamboo Shoots
Bamboo Shoots and Beef
Preparation:
1. Cut the beef into small pieces and boil in a pot with cold water until it opens, then remove and cool before slicing. Also, cut the bamboo shoots into slices and blanch in water before rinsing.
2. Heat oil in a clean pot with chicken oil and melted pork oil. Add minced raw ginger and chili powder and stir-fry until fragrant. Add the beef slices and stir-fry until evenly coated, then add water and transfer to a pressure cooker. Steam for 15 minutes after pressure is released (can be made in batches).
3. When serving, pour fragrant peppercorn oil into a clean pot and heat. Add minced garlic, sliced ginger, and dried chili flowers and stir-fry until fragrant. Then, add the sliced bamboo shoots and pressed beef, and cook until done, adding small peppercorn flowers and seasoning with salt, chicken broth, and flavor enhancer. When plating, garnish with coriander leaves.
