Green Bean Marble Recipe Sharing - Recreating Childhood Flavors

Staying home, I often tinker with cooking, and suddenly I miss the dishes my parents used to make during the Chinese New Year. That dish was green bean marbles. I still remember the first time my mother made them for me – the taste was amazing. After that, every year during Chinese New Year, my mother made green bean marbles in addition to fried fish and fried meat.

Green bean marbles are even more fragrant than radish marbles, without that radish flavor. When you eat them, all you taste is the fragrance of green beans. It's very nostalgic. Since I'm just relaxing, let's make them.

Let's do it! After all, we have plenty of time now.

Ingredients: Radish 1/2, Green bean powder 1/4 cup (if unavailable, use a food processor to make powder), 1 egg, scallions, salt, pepper.

Specific instructions:

1 Wash the radish thoroughly and cut it into fine threads. Add a little salt to reduce moisture.

2 I didn't have green bean powder, so I used a food processor to make some. Chop the scallions.

3 Squeeze out the moisture from the radish threads and mix them with the egg.

4 Then add the scallions, green bean powder, salt, and pepper, and mix well.

5 After mixing, take a small ball with your hand and shape it into marbles.

6 Pour cooking oil into a pot, when the oil temperature is 50% hot, put the prepared marbles in, and fry over low heat.

7 During frying, constantly turn the marbles with chopsticks to ensure they are evenly heated.

8 Fry until the marbles are all golden yellow and the ingredients are cooked through, then you can take them out.

9 These green bean marbles have a crispy exterior and a soft interior, which is why adding green bean powder makes them smell a little better than radish marbles.

Tips

When adding green bean powder, be careful not to add too much, or the marbles will become too hard after being made, affecting the taste.
