Fragrant, Soft Little Flower Cookies
Hello everyone, today I'm sharing the recipe for the most ordinary little cookies
How many years have passed since I last tasted the animal-shaped cookies from my childhood? Back then, I would eagerly await my father's return from his business trips, not just for his presence as a father, but also for the delicious treats he would bring back. In those days, life for most families wasn't affluent, especially for those who relied on farming—it was difficult to have a steady income of a few dollars a month, which was considered a modest standard of living.
Now, the nostalgic memories are still of the animal cookies my father brought back. Even without designs, you can bite through the cookies to form shapes!
Now let's get started.
Place a small bowl of flour in a basin, add two eggs, a little white sugar, and 2 grams of yeast powder. Mix the yeast powder with warm milk until it forms a fluffy mass, and knead into a dough with a soft and firm texture. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rise for half an hour
Roll out the dough into a thin slice, and use small molds to carve out various patterns on the dough slice to make cookies
Then it's time to bake – the baking tray doesn't use oil, simply bake the small cookies until they are golden brown on both sides
Now that our living standards are so high, we can enjoy whatever we want whenever we want, but homemade food is not only delicious and reassuring, but most importantly, it evokes cherished memories!
