Simple Sausage Rolls - Homemade Recipe, No Dough Required, Easy to Cut and Fry, Tastier Than Store-Bought

Recently, a flour craze has swept the nation, and everyone has become a foodie, making various delicious snacks with flour. Since it's free time at home and buying supplies carries risks, I'm sharing a family-friendly Sausage Roll recipe that doesn't require making dough, takes only a short time, and just involves kneading and cutting.

Sausage Rolls (Family Quick Version)

Ingredients: 250g of common flour, 3 eggs, appropriate amount of white sugar, appropriate amount of malt sugar, and appropriate amount of water

Step 1: Add 3 eggs to the flour and stir into a flour paste, then knead into a smooth, slightly soft dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.

❤ Only using eggs and flour, the finished product will be relatively fluffy and soft, compared to making dough, it saves you many tedious steps.

❤ If the eggs added are too small, you can add more eggs or warm water appropriately.

❤ Let the dough rest properly, it's less likely to develop gluten, and the finished product will be relatively softer.

Step 2: After the dough has rested, you don't need to knead it anymore. On a cutting board, sprinkle a little dry powder, press the dough flat with a rolling pin into a long rectangular pastry, first cut into wide strips and then cut into narrow strips for reserve.

❤ Make sure to sprinkle a lot of dry powder during the process to prevent sticking, and shake it off after cutting to prevent the long strips from sticking together.

Step 3: Prepare a pot of hot oil, when the oil temperature is about 60% hot, add the long strips, medium heat begins to fry, keep frying until it floats and increases in volume about that, don't fry for too long, although it looks beautiful after a long time, the taste will not be crispy and soft but still tends to be hard, take it out after frying, and in the container you can lay some oil paper, can absorb excess oil.

❤ How to measure the oil temperature? Insert a clean and dry wooden stick into the oil pot, the surface will immediately produce dense bubbles.

Step 4: Start a new pot, add white sugar, water, and malt sugar, medium heat slowly melt the white sugar and malt sugar, then reduce the heat and evaporate the water until the chopsticks can pull a thread state, at this time add white sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, red date shreds, dried grapes and so on, stir evenly and then add the fried dough strips, quickly coat and take out, put it into a mold, press it tightly.

❤ I have experimented many times, the sugar syrup needs to be more when making a one-time, if it's not sticky, it's easy to disperse later, and there's a key point that needs to be pressed tightly, the sugar syrup needs external assistance.

Step 5: After cooling, take it out and cut it into small pieces, you can eat it.

Conclusion: Flour is magical, it can be made into various delicious foods, it's boring to be free at home, you can use flour to make various pastries and snacks, this sweet food is very popular with children.
