Ingredients: Potatoes, Coke, Salt, Garlic, Soy Sauce, Sesame Seeds.

Step 1: Wash the potatoes clean, use a peeler to remove the skin, then cut them into small pieces with a knife.
Step 2: To prevent oxidation and discoloration, wash the excess potato starch on the surface with water, then put them in a strainer to drain the moisture. This will prevent the oil from splashing and burning when frying them later.

Step 3: Add a little oil to the pot and heat it until it reaches 45%-50%. Put a wooden stick into the oil, and when a small bubble appears, it means the oil temperature is right. Put the drained potato pieces into the pot and stir-fry over medium heat. Fry until the surface of the potatoes turns yellowish, and remove them.

Step 4: Add a little oil to the pot, and sauté minced garlic. Then add the potato pieces and stir-fry with soy sauce. Then pour in a bottle of Coke or Pepsi. Cook over high heat until it boils, add a little salt, and cook for about 5 minutes. Strain the soup to remove the residue. If you’re worried that the potatoes won’t be cooked, you can cook over high heat for a few minutes, then over low heat for 5 minutes, and then over high heat to reduce the sauce.
