New Breakthrough in Chinese Giant Panda Recognition Technology: Achieving Panda Face Recognition
For most people, it's incredibly difficult to distinguish between individual animals, but we might be able to recognize each giant panda in the future. Recently, Shiya River Normal University released the latest research results on giant panda protection – giant panda facial recognition technology. It is reported that the technology currently focuses on captive giant pandas, allowing each giant panda to be established with a unique ID and various detailed information, which is convenient for staff management and also allows tourists to identify and understand each panda.
With the support of this technology, it's estimated that everyone will be able to distinguish giant pandas based on facial features. This is really exciting.
