Kaiyuan: Beautiful Ecological Environment and Birds Flock to Reside
Kunming, July 1, 2020 – The ecological environment in Kaiyuan, Red River Prefecture, Yunnan Province, is beautiful, and birds flock to inhabit. On March 1, 2020, more than 200 critically endangered beaked stork species were seen inhabiting the Kaiyuan Phoenix Ecological Park. The Kaiyuan Phoenix Ecological Park was completed in November 2017, covering an area of 3500 acres. The park's construction has greatly improved the ecological environment of Kaiyuan City and has attracted beaked storks, gray herons, white herons, green-headed ducks, red-billed ducks, and common herons to inhabit it.
