The Swan Goose's Spring

April blooms again, a gentle breeze caresses the waters, and the spring scenery is lush. The temperature is rising, the reeds are growing taller, and the swan geese, originally from Sweden, are eagerly enjoying the spring colors along Fenghuang Lake.

The name 'swan goose' comes from the dark feather crown on its head, resembling the crown on a phoenix's head. Combined with its slender neck, it gracefully walks across the shimmering water, exuding elegance and nobility.

Due to its short wings, it is not good at flying, and its nests are usually built on shallow waters. Complementing it, swan geese have excellent swimming and diving abilities, and small fish and shrimp in the lake are their daily meals.

Sometimes joyful and jumping, sometimes laughing and chatting!

Despite their dignified appearance, they still retain the mischievousness of birds. They playfully chase and frolic on the calm lake, splashing water and scattering water droplets that refract sunlight, sparkling like diamonds, adding vitality to the formerly quiet lakeside.

When they meet their beloved, swan geese will often bring a reed or aquatic plant, straighten their chests, and gaze at each other, slowly swimming away - perhaps a gift for the first meeting, or a plant to enhance their charm and attract the other party. As an elegant gentleman, etiquette is essential. Two swan geese will often nod at each other to express their admiration.

Today, I entered the birds' territory to record this beautiful moment with a camera. Used to the hustle and bustle of the city and the flow of traffic, I didn't expect to find such tranquility and peace just a short distance away. Under the gift of nature, I felt the passage of time. I couldn't bear to think about how to protect this scene, I just hope it won't be disturbed, and mutual respect is the best protection.
