Lu Cackling Geese Arrive in Minqin
Cackling Goose (scientific name: Anser indicus) is a medium-sized goose, with a body length of 62-85 cm and a weight of 2-3 kg. The overall body is mostly grey-brown, with the head and neck sides white, and the head has two black bands with spots, which are very conspicuous on the white head. Breeding takes place in high-altitude lakes, particularly in saline lakes, and also in freshwater lakes and open areas with extensive marshes. Overwintering takes place in low-altitude lakes, rivers and marshes.
