White Cranes Flock to Beautiful Ecological Area of Xiushu Village in Huaiji Dagang Town
Lingshan Xishui, Beautiful Home. Recently, a large group of white cranes appeared in the Shixiu Town area of Xiu Shui Village. They either hunted in groups of three or five, played, or danced in the spring sunshine.
In Shangting Village, Dagang Town, I saw a large group of white cranes appearing from afar, the little guys ‘walked through the field’ and ‘danced and played’ intermittently, slowly walking and foraging, and constantly looking up and observing the surroundings. They were timid and alert, and at the slightest movement, they would immediately take flight. Their ‘long legs’ and white feathers were mesmerizing.
Villager Liu Shu told reporters that large flocks of white cranes arrive in Shangting and Linggang villages’ fields every year from February to June, and it is often possible to see dozens or even hundreds of white cranes, which is a pleasure to watch.

White cranes inhabit open plains, marshy grasslands, and large lakes and rocky shores and shallow marshes, they are one of the most specialized types of cranes, and they have a strong attachment to shallow wetlands.

The river flows from west to east, and the two sides of the 38-mile railway are paved with asphalt greenways, and along the way, the scenery is set, the total length is 5.3 kilometers. Shixiu Village is comparable to a painting, with clear water and unique scenery, you can indulge in the tranquility of the Qingfeng Mingyue, giving you a new rural life experience. Walking ten miles along the riverside greenway, watching the flowing Shixiu, appreciating the blossoming flowers, watching the pastoral scenery, and white cranes dancing gracefully is beautiful.
