Pink Starlings: The ‘Enemy’ of Locusts

Since early summer 2019, tens of thousands of pink starlings have migrated to the Tongliai Altai grassland in Xinjiang to prey on locusts and nest and breed. Pink starlings are a major force in Xinjiang grassland ecological control, effectively controlling locusts' erosion of the grassland. Xinhua News Agency
