On February 23rd, the forest police of Dengkou County, Baenan City, discovered another batch of migratory birds arriving in Dengkou. The new birds mainly include Grey-headed Sandpiper, Mandarin Duck, Common Sandpiper, Purple-breasted Swamp Duck and Blue-winged Teal, with a number of about 300.

Lake Ulanbum and desert welcomes migratory birds


On February 23rd, the patrol police discovered a new batch of migratory birds in Lake Ulanbum and desert, mainly including Grey-headed Sandpiper, Mandarin Duck, Common Sandpiper, Purple-breasted Swamp Duck and Blue-winged Teal, with a number of about 300. These birds play and forage joyfully on the relatively small water surface. Grey-headed Sandpiper and Mandarin Duck are very cautious and difficult to approach, and the patrol police had to go through a lot of effort to see their true appearance.
