Australian Firefighters Save Drowning Lizard, 'Bringing it Back from the Brink' in Just 10 Minutes
According to foreign media reports on February 5, recently, the Gordon Fire Station in New South Wales, Australia, uploaded a special rescue video on social media: a firefighter performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on a drowning lizard and finally saved the little guy.
The social media post said, "Local time last Saturday, one of our firefighters on leave was involved in an emergency rescue of a drowning incident at a nearby swimming pool."

The protagonist of this special rescue—the little lizard fell into the swimming pool and couldn't climb out. Then it was rescued to the shore by children. When the firefighter arrived at the scene, the little lizard had lost consciousness and was not breathing.
After observing the lizard for a while, the firefighter immediately began performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
After the cardiopulmonary resuscitation had no effect, the firefighter turned the lizard's back down and performed chest compressions in the hope of seeing the lizard react.
After more than ten minutes of effort, people thought the little guy was in bad shape, but this lucky guy was rescued.
Less than half an hour, the little lizard began chasing insects in a ray of sunlight.

This little guy was named "Lucky".
Accompanied by this adorable video, the Gordon Fire Station did not forget to promote the importance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation to the public: "(Australian) summer is coming to an end, it's not too late to learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation by the water or in the water."
