The elk forest garden is the first in Shandong to be themed with ‘forest elk’ and is a cultural ecological project. In the warm and sunny weather, the reporter interacted closely with the national Grade I protected elk.
Dalian Haihin National Forest Park is located at the northernmost point of Beinan Road in Dalian, Shandong Province, and is a national 4A scenic area. The park is nestled in the mountains and by the sea, with a total area of 12000 mu and a forest coverage rate of 78%. The park has a continuous coastline of 7 kilometers, with gentle waves, broad beaches, fine sand, and clean seawater, which is praised by experts as ‘one of the only remaining unpolluted coastlines in China’.
It is understood that Dalian Haihin National Forest Park has attractions all year round, in spring you can admire cherry blossoms, in summer you can admire lotus flowers, in autumn you can admire red leaves, and in winter you can admire plum blossoms. Currently, four tourism functions have been formed: forest tourism area, seaside entertainment area, health and vacation area, and elder culture area. At the same time, the park also offers multiple bicycle, European-style horse-drawn carriages, sightseeing cars, sand buggy, and river boat trips.
