It is understood that black-capped squirrel monkeys are named for the dense black hair on their heads, which looks like a black hat. They belong to the primate order and the squirrel monkey family, and are endangered wild animals distributed in South America, accustomed to living in humid tropical forests at an altitude of 2700 meters, and their main food is fruits, seeds and insects.
