Chicago's Shedd Aquarium closed to the public according to requirements, the aquarium appeared particularly deserted without tourists. So the staff released a group of penguins in the hall, letting them freely roam and visit other animals.

The aquarium staff said they wanted to keep the penguins lively, encourage them to explore mysteries and exhibit natural behaviors.

The aquarium posted a video of this on the internet on March 15th local time, in the video, a yellow-eyed penguin named 'Wellington' shuffles back and forth in the Amazon fish exhibit, seemingly very interested in the fish in the water. This is the first time they have stepped out of their own venue to see the 'neighbors'.

Penguins don't just live in cold places like Antarctica, they are widely distributed in the Southern Hemisphere, from the Equator to Antarctica, and different species of penguins live in various places. The yellow-eyed penguin that went wandering in Shedd Aquarium's main breeding ground is in the New Zealand Fiordland National Park, which is a tropical rainforest park, with maximum temperatures reaching 30°C or higher, so the yellow-eyed penguins won't be afraid of the heat, they may even be chilly.
