On the day, in order to let visitors have a happy time with the giant pandas, the Panda Base held a reopening ceremony and activities to welcome visitors, ensuring safety.

To ensure the safety after the reopening, the park implemented a ‘one-person-one-certificate-one-ticket’ system, limiting the number of visitors entering the park daily, and continued to close the Giant Panda Magic Theater. The park’s opening hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with ticket scanning and verification stopping at 4:00 pm. Visitors can purchase tickets online, scan codes, or buy physical tickets to enter the park.

During the closure, the Panda Base formulated comprehensive protection measures to ensure the safety of the park and the normal animal husbandry and research work.
The Panda Base immediately stored a large quantity of bamboo, and experts formulated an emergency bamboo feeding plan for the giant pandas. Keepers adopted a no-holiday-no-shift-work system to ensure the health of animals and personnel, enabling normal operations of feeding, raising, environmental enrichment, behavior training, disease control and treatment.
