Heartwarming! UK Hotel Invites Stray Dogs for a Day Each Month

According to the British 'Daily Mail' report, the Tuxbury Park Hotel in the center of Cotswold, UK, hosted three stray dogs from Cheltenham Animal Shelter for a luxurious day. The dogs came from the Cheltenham Animal Shelter and were accompanied by staff for a perfect day.
It is reported that the hotel was recently awarded 'Most Pet-Friendly Hotel' in 2020. The dogs first enjoyed a lavish barbecue dinner, followed by a leisurely roam across the 164-acre hotel park. After enjoying sunbathing, they returned to the hotel in a golf cart. The dog lounge was equipped with dedicated memory foam dog beds, bowls, and towels. The room even had a balcony door, in front of which was an endless expanse of grassland, allowing the dogs to easily appreciate the views of the Gloucestershire countryside. They could also freely roam around.
The shelter's General Manager Peter Newcombe said, 'It was a very enjoyable day for them. It's a great opportunity for them to enjoy themselves in a new environment. Two of the dogs were already quite old, and it was especially good for them to meet new friends. We are very grateful for the hospitality of Tuxbury Park Hotel.'
Following this day, Tuxbury Park Hotel will continue its regular collaboration with the Cheltenham Animal Shelter to regularly host shelter dogs for a day of fun. Tuxbury Park Hotel invites a batch of dogs each month to stay at the hotel, offering them a lavish barbecue dinner, allowing them to roam around the hotel grounds, and also giving them collars and toys as souvenirs. The hotel will also launch special packages including countryside walks, a luxury bed (with memory foam mattress) and a delicious breakfast.
