The incident occurred on January 29th. A 9-month-old dog named Kahuna was playing in a corner of the house when it accidentally overturned an ironing board and some items, which fell onto a heater, causing a fire.

The fire department's released video shows Kahuna and another dog, Paige, calmly observing the flames without panic. Kahuna sat on the sofa watching the fire for a while, while Paige leisurely left the room.

Neither dog was injured, but a corner of the house was severely burned. Firefighters also used the incident to remind people to keep flammable items away from heating devices and to have an escape plan.

The fire department even released a photo of the ' arsonist' and jokingly said that Kahuna refused to respond, but it was expected to take a dog training and juvenile fire prevention course.
