The North Ting National Wetland Park is located in the southeastern part of Jiukasaer County, serving as the habitat for various wild birds, fish, and amphibians in Central Asia's temperate desert region, and is also a transit station and must-pass location for migratory birds from Central Asia. It was included in the National Wetland Park Pilot Program in December 2014.

Starting in 2017, Jiukasaer County has actively built the North Ting National Wetland Park. Currently, the North Ting National Wetland Park, with a total area of 1492 hectares, has been divided into five areas: ecological conservation area, restoration and reconstruction area, reasonable utilization area, educational exhibition area, and management and service area. This typical representative of the semi-arid wetland ecosystem of the northwest inland area and small-flowing rivers has been effectively protected.

In recent years, Jiukasaer County has encouraged villagers to develop characteristic fish farm homestays, ecological fishing gardens, and specialty restaurants based on the North Ting National Wetland Park. At the same time, it has taken measures such as adjusting the industrial structure, improving rural living environment, and increasing the efforts to protect and restore rural ecosystems, comprehensively protecting the ecological environment.

'When the North Ting National Wetland Park wasn't built, there weren't many people passing by on this street during the day. On a sunny day, it's dirt from head to toe, and on a rainy day, your feet are full of mud.' This year, 57-year-old Zhang Wenxiu, a native of Jiukasaer County's North Ting Town, used to make a living by farming, but life was tight. In June 2016, she started running a specialty restaurant.
