Is it a Cat or a Dog? Internet Users Engage in Heated Discussions, Vietnamese Cute Pet Goes Viral, Accumulating Millions of Fans

As the saying goes: seeing is believing, hearing is false. But does seeing necessarily mean it's real? Take this picture – it's hard to tell if it's a rabbit or a bird. Maybe an eye exam is needed.

On February 28, local time, The Daily Star published a photo of a furry, pointy-eared pet, sparking a heated debate about whether it was a dog or a cat. The adorable little guy quickly went viral, earning millions of fans.

Regardless of whether it's a dog or a cat, you'll surely find it cute.

This little guy, named Duy, has a dog's nose and tongue, but his ears are pointy like a cat's.

His adorable appearance not only captivates people but also confuses netizens, who can't identify what kind of animal he is, as he looks like a cross between a dog and a cat.

Some netizens speculated that he might be a cross between a Corgi and a Vietnamese Mèo, while others believed he might be a Corgi cat mixed with a British Shorthair.

'Like we see cats, dogs, or even new foxes online… no one knows what he is?' Reddit user, Redditer, mused.

Another netizen jokingly said, 'Hey, little guy, do you want to be a cat or a dog?'

After several days of heated discussion, Duy's owner, Thuan, finally answered the speculation: Duy is actually a mix of a Vietnamese native dog and a short-legged dog named Dinggo. He is now ten weeks old.

Thuan said, 'This dog 'may have a genetic mutation,' which explains his unusual but adorable appearance.'

'He is a happy and cute dog, who loves to play with other dogs and even big dogs, and prefers to be with humans.'

Don't know, how about this adorable little dog has charmed you?
