China Statistics on Troglodytes Species: Identification and Appreciation
Troglodytidae, also known as wrens, is a family within the order Passeriformes (songbirds). There are currently 17 genera and 80 species worldwide, with only two known to occur in China. Most wrens are small and originate from the Neotropical region, specifically tropical areas, among the approximately 368 known species and subspecies.
