In Qianxi County’s Jinxing Town New Street Community, nearly a hundred endangered species of black-faced spoonbill were perched, playing, and circling in the trees, complementing the spring scenery and forming a harmonious ecological painting, attracting a group of photographers to come and shoot, using lenses to record the life of black-faced spoonbill.



Black-faced spoonbill belongs to migratory birds, listed in the ‘World Conservation Union’ Red List of Endangered Species in 2013. Qianxi County has good climate, geography, and forest resources, in recent years, with the continuous increase of Qianxi County’s forest coverage rate, the continuous improvement of ecological environment, and the continuous increase of efforts to protect wildlife, more and more birds have chosen Qianxi County as their resting place during migration, and black-faced spoonbill is one of the ‘famous’ representatives.



Qianxi County’s Forestry Bureau Director Yang Wei told reporters that Qianxi County is firmly adhering to the two bottom lines of development and ecology, focusing on ecological construction, especially the ecological construction activities carried out in recent years, has greatly improved Qianxi’s ecological environment, not only making the living environment more livable, but also attracting black-faced spoonbill and other birds to Qianxi to inhabit.

In addition to black-faced spoonbill, there are also black cormorants, white egrets, and more and more birds have chosen Qianxi as their habitat. Qianxi County is continuing to build a green ecological barrier, while actively taking measures to protect black-faced spoonbill and other wild animals.
