Urban Management & Environmental Remediation: Dogs May Be Cute, But Unregulated Pet Ownership is Not Desirable
To further standardize the civilized pet ownership behavior of urban residents and create a safe, orderly, and harmonious living environment, recently, the County Urban Management Bureau has gradually intensified enforcement actions against violations of dog ownership regulations. Through extensive publicity, strict law enforcement, and the establishment of long-term mechanisms, the Bureau has continuously strengthened the management of dogs. As of February 29th, the County Urban Management Bureau has organized patrols of 500 people, distributed over 500 brochures, persuaded dog owners 45 times, and forcibly captured 25 stray and unclaimed dogs.

Next, the County Urban Management Bureau will continue to transform its urban management concepts and methods, further establish long-term management mechanisms for stray dog custody and feeding, strengthen social publicity and (public opinion guidance), and conduct comprehensive, door-to-door publicity and enforcement actions within the urban area, to improve citizens' awareness of civilized and regulated pet ownership. At the same time, it will fully leverage the advantages of grid management, establish a complete daily law enforcement and patrol mechanism, continue to capture stray and unclaimed dogs, ensure citizens' health and personal safety, and effectively maintain urban appearance and social order.
