Silver Lake Mountain Nature Reserve is located in the administrative districts of Luohu, Futian, and Longgang in Shenzhen. Silver Lake Mountain Nature Reserve has continuous mountain ranges with low mountains and hilly terrain, and no large flat areas. The northern mountain range has a generally higher elevation than the southern part,Silver Lake Mountain’s highest peak—Jigong Mountain (elevation 445 meters), is higher than the eastern Wuting Mountain at 944 meters, and the western Tanglang at 430 meters.The park features numerous small reservoirs that are a rare landscape resource, making it a great weekend getaway for hiking, resting, and fishing. The Shenzhen Greenway 5 Line runs through the park, and the greenway is clean, long, and has a suitable slope. In recent years, it has become a popular destination for cycling, fishing, and hiking enthusiasts.
