A must-visit place in Xingtai is Xingtai Garden Expo Park, which was opened on August 28, 2019. It is located between Xingtai Old City and New City, and was formerly a coal mine collapse site. After rebuilding the mountain and water scenery by Xingtai Municipal Government, it has now become a city green lung. Like clouds, a vast expanse, close viewing, a myriad of forms. Xingtai Garden Expo Park Meiling’s thousand plum blossoms in bloom, has become Xingtai’s newest internet celebrity check-in spot.
The Meiling plum blossom garden specializes in plum blossoms with a large scale, with a total area of about 115,000 square meters, forming a spectacular effect of a sea of flowers; the species are diverse, with a plum blossom display area of about 12,000 square meters, mainly including: Xiao Xingmei, Huang Xiang, Sanluno Yu Die, Green-, Xiao Gong Fen, Beijing Yu Die, Meiren Mei, Jin Hong Zhizhi, and about 20 varieties of plum blossoms.

The entire street of Zhonghua Street in Xingtai’s urban area is full of Meiren Mei blossoms, dazzling and dizzying, making driving feel like driving through a sea of flowers; pear trees and red peach blossoms complement each other, with spring exuberantly thriving and bursting with vitality, making people reluctant to leave.
Xingtai Garden Expo Park is only a microcosm of Xingtai’s ecological civilization construction. In recent years, Xingtai City has built on the construction of park cities, guided by the goal of “Green Xing Xiang, Watering Ancient City”, with large investment, large planning, and large construction.
