Wushanping Village in Xinpu Town Takes a First Step in Agricultural and Tourism Development
Wushanping Village, located in Xinpu Town, south of Mianxian County, is 25 kilometers from the county seat. The village's terrain is characterized by two mountains flanking it, creating a unique geographical environment resembling a miniature basin. At this time of spring warmth and blossoming, with over 600 acres of layered, whirlpool-like terraces covered in oilseed rape flowers, the village's dwellings are nestled among them, while distant mountains stand in a hazy blue hue. Looking out, it's like a genuine, rustic pastoral landscape painting, a masterpiece of countryside poetry.

On March 22nd, a trip organized by the Municipal Party Committee, Xinpu Town Government, and Wushanping Village Committee, together with the 'Journey Through Hanzhong' original author expedition group, launched a rural tourism development-themed agricultural travel cultural experience activity. Many self-made tourists and villagers also actively and enthusiastically participated in the activity.

As soon as they got off the bus, members of the 'Journey Through Hanzhong' original author team were deeply attracted by Wushanping Village's secluded and pristine natural landscapes. A team of 50 people immersed themselves in the pastoral scenery of flowering willows and blossoming flowers, and the red-tiled farmhouses. They used their lenses to capture and refine these natural carvings, explaining the exquisite beauty of Wushanping Village. During the entire expedition, the instructors were highly enthusiastic, engaging in exchanges and discussions about photography techniques and the photos they took. In the spring breeze and rustling leaves, they experienced the beauty of nature and human culture.

The village's simple villagers celebrated like a holiday, bringing out their local specialties for display. The ancient weaving skills amazed everyone. Professional tea art performances narrated the charm of Chinese culture that has been deeply rooted for centuries.

The activity also included various recreational programs such as kicking shuttlecocks, playing sandbags, rolling iron rings, and flying kites, allowing everyone to reminisce about their happy childhood. Adults and children alike were having a great time.
At the end of the event, several experts from the city gathered to discuss suggestions for developing rural tourism in Wushanping Village, focusing on transportation, accommodation, agricultural culture, and more. They offered insightful advice on rationally developing and utilizing Wushanping Village's agricultural tourism resources and land, completing agricultural tourism leisure projects and supporting commercial projects. They will also tell the rural culture stories, making Wushanping Village a high-quality agricultural tourism demonstration district. (Wang Zhu)
