Why Do Indians Always Seem So Confident? After Visiting India's Wealthy Districts, Tourists Can Understand

Nowadays, with the increasing living standards, people are more willing to go out and explore the world. It's no longer difficult to travel abroad. Sometimes, with a passport and enough money, you can take a trip without planning. As for the most frequent destinations for domestic tourists, it's Southeast Asia like Thailand and Malaysia, and South Asia like India and Nepal, etc.

However, although the landscapes in these countries are very beautiful, after communicating with the locals, you'll find that most of them don't have a deep understanding of China. They're still stuck in old impressions, and some even think China is very poor. Taking India as an example, this country is always in the news for its bizarre operations. The wealth gap is huge, and it still has the largest slum in Asia. Most importantly, it's just a wall away from the wealthy districts.

But even so, many locals are very confident, believing that their country produces the best products and actively promoting them to other countries. For example, the Ganges water, which has been bottled, is considered sacred by Indians, but foreigners don't feel the same way because they've seen it's dirty. This is just a phenomenon of a part of the local society. If you go to the wealthy districts, you might really understand.

Here, the contrast between the slums and the wealthy districts is stark. The wealthy residents of the districts live a luxurious life, enjoying all the comforts and conveniences. They have drivers to pick them up and drop them off, and they live in multi-story villas. They can hire many domestic servants to serve them, basically living 'eat and drink' and 'wear and own' lifestyles. When they have free time, they can even take private jets with their families to travel. They never worry about money.

Once, the richest man in India spent billions of dollars to build a multi-story villa and hired hundreds of servants. But only his family of a few people lived in it. They held swimming parties and gatherings, inviting industry leaders to sing and dance, and lived a glamorous life. This is not just the ordinary people, but also makes other countries' tourists envious.

But no matter how this is a lifestyle of a few people, the wealth gap exists in many countries. Shouldn't the government try to reduce the gap? What would you like to say about this?
