Dali’s Most Unassuming Attraction: Almost Redeemed as a Hotel, Now a Tourist Favorite
Welcome to Tail Elephant and Cat's Travel Adventure Agency, let's explore the world's undiscovered small-scale travel stories and different local flavors.

Speaking of Hai Shi Park, it's not very well-known in Dali, and if it weren't for the must-go route along the West Road, it might not be known to many tourists today. However, it's the favorite destination for wedding photographers in Dali, and also one of the most loved destinations for wedding and photography. Almost every new bride from Dali has visited here. The main reason is that it's less crowded and the scenery is beautiful.

The reason we came to Dali is actually to specifically visit Hai Shi Park. We are most interested in the scenery along the and the two big trees beside the rice paddies. From Dali Ancient City to here is not far, and it only takes about an hour to ride an electric car. When you see these two trees, you know you're almost there. Hai Shi Park is very big, and it's said that everyone who comes here sees a different scenery. You can admire the from the seaside, feel very comfortable blowing the breeze.
Hai Shi Park is named because, when viewed from the air, it looks like the tongue of the. When you reach the tip of the tongue, you've reached the end of the in people's minds. It's best to come here in the summer and autumn. The wind is not big, and when the sunset shines on the sea, the sea reflects the sky. I think this is probably what I imagined – ''.

Compared to many tourists outside, the tourists who come to Hai Shi Park are quite few. Many people don't know what's inside and choose to pass by. If you come here, you may not find a few people even after a year, and at most you can just wander around nearby before leaving. This is also why many people don't know Hai Shi Park – they don't stay for long and leave after a walk.
It was originally planned that a high-end hotel would buy this place and build a vacation resort. But for some reason, the plan was stopped. Every person who has seen the scenery of Hai Shi Park is very grateful that Dali has kept this place for every tourist.
If you look closely at the dead branches growing in the, many people may not pay attention to them. But I find it very special. The has undergone a long period of governance, and it has changed a lot. Now the water quality and environment are very good. These uncleaned branches and trees form a unique landscape here.

Many photos taken in Dali are taken with this as the background, and I also like this slightly messy and rough look, which contrasts with the original elegance and delicate beauty of Dali's flowers, snow, and jade.
