The Shuanghekou Ancient Town Scenic Area, with a history of over 600 years, has been designated as a AAA-Level Scenic Area.

On April 3rd, according to the National Standards for the Classification and Rating of Tourist Scenic Area Quality and the Management Measures for Tourist Scenic Area Quality Grading, the Han Yang Shuanghekou Ancient Town Scenic Area was officially approved to be named a National AAA-Level Tourist Scenic Area by the Ankang City Tourist Scenic Area Quality Grading Committee.

Shuanghekou Town is located in the northern foothills of the Qinling Mountains in the north of the county, 27 kilometers from the county, with an area of 148.7 square kilometers, with 4588 households and over 17000 residents, encompassing 11 administrative villages. Shuanghekou Ancient Town was built in the early Ming Dynasty and has a history of over 600 years, serving as the economic, cultural and transportation center of the north of Han Yang County, and was a prosperous trading port along the sub-tropical ancient road that runs from Xi'an to Ankang in the past. It is known as 'Sunrise Golden Duel' and is recorded in phrases such as 'Thousands of Silkworm Cocoons Carry to Chang'an, and Half a Month to Return with Salt' and 'Rest Your Feet on Shuanghekou Street, One Breath Out of Fengkou' which depict the scenes of merchants traveling in the past.
