Twin Towers Scenic Area, Four Times the Size of Aidong Park, Officially Begins Construction!

In early March, the official website will release the final planning announcement for the Twin Towers Scenic Area, which also marks the formal commencement of the comprehensive renovation project. Yongjiao Temple, also known as Double Towers Temple, is located on the south slope of Nanbangang in Aidong District, established in the 27th year of the Ming Wanli reign (1599), with most of the buildings dating back to the Ming Dynasty. 'The 'Heavenly Towers' are one of the eight scenic spots of Taiyuan and a symbol of Taiyuan. A small team entered the park and found that most of the area had been cordoned off, with only a small portion accessible for viewing.

Inside the park, the peonies are beginning to sprout their pointed tips, thriving in the sunlight! The photos of peonies displayed on the wall further enhance their allure; we eagerly await their rapid growth!
'Twin Towers Scenic Area' officially begins construction
A planning map has been erected on the road leading to the scenic area, which clearly shows three land plots located to the southeast, northeast, and southwest of the existing scenic area. These three plots will also be part of the future Twin Towers Scenic Area. Adding to the existing area, the completed Twin Towers Scenic Area will be four times the size of Aidong Park.

A vacant area to the northeast of the park will be constructed as a landscape rest area, landscape pavilions, Songfeng Pavilion, landscape galleries, and a children's activity area. This land plot is currently cordoned off and undergoing construction.
A vacant area to the southeast of the park will be constructed as a red theme memorial area, including the Revolutionary Martyr Memorial Hall, the Red Education Theme Memorial Area, the Counterattack Against Vietnam War Martyr Memorial, and the Taiyuan Liberation War Martyr Memorial. The eastern entrance to the park will also be located here. Currently, this land plot serves as a temporary parking lot and has not yet begun construction.

From the planning map, it can be seen that the area to the south of the park will be constructed as a landscape with water as the main element, extending northwards and surrounding the existing scenic area, constructing a series of landscape buildings such as a calligraphy academy, landscape bridges, tower shadow pavilions, and water-side pavilions.
With the increasing demand for healthy lifestyles, new residential developments surrounding the park have become increasingly attractive to homebuyers. Now, several real estate companies have their eyes on the Twin Towers area: Red Star, Evergrande, China Railway, and Poly have all acquired land. The future situation remains to be seen!

Spring flowers will bloom, and when the flowers are in full bloom, let us welcome the spring breeze and admire the peonies.
