Lanzhou Traffic Police Issue Travel Reminders: Be Aware of These Situations When Visiting Shichuan to View Pear Blossoms

Daily Gansu Net, April 12th (Palm Shang Lanzhou·Lanzhou Morning Post reporter Zhang Xiuyun)The hundred-year-old Shichuan pear garden is expected to bloom in the near future. The Lanzhou Traffic Police, based on the recent Shichuan pear flower activity and the best flowering time, predict that the number of visitors to the pear blossom garden will peak in the next week. Therefore, the police department has issued travel reminders.
There are three main transportation methods to the Shichuan Pear Blossom Garden:
Method 1: Take the scenic bus. Passengers with appointment codes can board the bus at Gaolan County City or Xujia Mountain in Qunghai District and park at the scenic area parking lot. After getting off, they will be checked again for the electronic appointment code.
Method 2: Tourists drive their private cars. Private cars entering the Shichuan Pear Blossom Garden must pass through the Pear Blossom Bridge entrance and be checked by staff.
Method 3: Take a boat and travel by water. The Lanzhou to Shichuan Waterway Route is one-way 35 kilometers. Starting from April 8th to May, it departs from Lanzhou Yilang Bay Pier at 8:30 am and arrives in Shichuan around 10:00 am. It returns at 3:30 pm, with a punctual departure. The round-trip ticket price is 120 yuan per person. Lanzhou Water Transport Group will increase the number of departures by 1 to 4 times per day according to the passenger flow.
Main Routes to Shichuan:
Route 1: Starting from Gaolan County City, take County Road 131, passing through Shidong Town and Wushan Village to reach Shichuan Town. There are many villages along the way;
Route 2: Starting from Qunghai District Yilang Bay, take the Yishang Road to reach Shichuan Town. The newly built Yishang Road is now partially open, and is connected to Beijin Road, Beihuan Road, and Yanbai Bridge. Citizens can choose the appropriate route according to their actual situation.
Self-driving vehicle parking situation:
Category 1: Scenic Area Parking Lot, mainly the Tourist Center Parking Lot and the Wuyuan Parking Lot, which can accommodate 100+ tourist buses and 700+ private cars;
Category 2: Scattered parking lots within the Shichuan Pear Blossom Garden, estimated to accommodate 500+ small vehicles. Parking spaces are very limited, so citizens traveling to the area are advised to travel in groups by bus.
Lanzhou Traffic Police's warm tips:
The new Yishang Road is still under construction, and the road markings along the route are not perfect. There are many temporary turning points and openings on the 4.5km section of the road. We hope that drivers will have a more civilized driving awareness and pay attention to safety.
