Wenchuan Tea Has a Long History, the Tea from Xiu Ting is Famous Throughout
Yixiu Town is located in the south of Wenchuan County, Sichuan, adjacent to the Wolong Nature Reserve. It is the gateway to Aba and the essential route for traveling to Jiuzhaigou, Wolong, and Meili Snow Mountain.

Once you arrive in Yixiu Town, there are two places you must visit: the Yixiu Earthquake Relics and Chaixiangzi Tea House. As the intersection of the Sichuan-Tibet Highway Gansu Ancient Road (Ganmu Ancient Road), Wenchuan tea has a long history, dating back over 1000 years, with profound historical accumulation and cultural heritage. The tea produced in Wenchuan was an important part of the ancient 'tea-horse trade' sold to the Tibetan areas.

The owner of Chaixiangzi is Jiang Wuming. Chaixiangzi is his stage name. He has been connected to tea since childhood, and he spent half his life traveling throughout the Grand Canal and the North just to taste the most beautiful and fresh tea. Until the earthquake, he accidentally discovered this ancient Silk Road site in Yixiu, where deep-rooted gorge civilization and Tibetan tea culture are preserved, and the tea produced here is known as 'natural green food created by nature'.

Xiangzi's skillful hands made countless renowned teas, including white tea, red tea, green tea, yellow tea, oolong tea, and golden flower tea, as well as the world-renowned non-heritage black tea of the Great Tibetan Black Tea. This tea has the effects of lowering cholesterol, reducing blood sugar, weight loss, lowering blood pressure, anti-inflammation, sterilization, stomach care, and anti-aging.
